OATS BISCUITS




















START YOUR DAY WITH OATS AND LIVE HEALTHY.........

INGREDIENTS :
(1) WHEAT - 2 CUPS
(2) OATS -1 CUP
(3) GHEE -1 BOWL
(4) SUGAR POWDERED -1 1/2 BOWL
(5) BUTTER -50 GMS.
(6) BAKING POWDER - 2 TEASPOON
(7)MILK-AS PER REQUIREMENT

PREPARATION TIME :35 MINUTES

STEPS:
IN A BOWL ADD MELTED GHEE , BUTTER AND SUGAR (POWDERED) AND BEAT IT TILL THE SUGAR MIXES WELL . ADD WHEAT, OATS, BAKING POWDER AND MIX WELL AND ADD MILK AS NEEDED TO MAKE  DOUGH (AS WE GENERALLY MAKE FOR MAKING ROTIS)

PRE HEAT OVEN AT 200°C.

NOW TAKE SOME OF THE DOUGH AND MAKE LIKE ROTI AND THEN SPRINKLE SOME OATS ON IT AND AGAIN FLATTEN IT ONE OR TWO TIMES AND THE ROTI SHOULD OF 1/2 INCH HEIGHT. THEN CUT IN DIFFERENT SHAPES AS YOU LIKE THROUGH DESIGN CUTTERS OR ANY BOTTLENECKS OR ANY SMALL GLASS OR BOWL.

THEN PLACE THE BISCUITS DESIGNS ON OVEN TRAY AND BAKE IT FOR 15 MINS. OR TILL THE COLOUR OF THE BISCUITS TURN LIGHT BROWN.

OUR OATS BISCUITS IS READY.


ADDITIONS:WE CAN STORE IT FOR 2-3 WEEKS IN AN AIR TIGHT CONTAINER.

BREAD CRUMBS POHA

A SIMPLE SNACKS..........RATHER AN EASY ONE AND A VERY TASTY SNACKS.................









INGREDIENTS :

(1) BREAD - 4 PCS
(2) ONION - 1 (CHOPPED)
(3) BOILED CORN - 3/4 BOWL
(4) CAPSICUM - 1 SMALL (CHOPPED)
(5) BLACK PEPPER POWDER - A PINCH
(6)OIL - 1/2 TEASPOON
(7)LIME JUICE -1 LEMON



PREPARATION TIME :10 MINS


STEPS :

GRIND BREADS. MICROWAVE FOR 4 MINS OR TILL IT BECOMES LIGHT BROWN IN COLOUR.
TAKE A MICROWAVE SAFE BOWL. POUR OIL,ADD CHOPPED ONIONS AND CAPSICUM.MICROWAVE FOR 2-3 MINS. ADD BOILED CORNS AND MICROWAVE FOR 1 MIN.
ADD BREAD CRUMBS AND A PINCH OF BLACK PEPPER POWDER NOW AND MIX WELL.

OUR BREAD CRUMBS POHA IS READY. SERVE AFTER ADDING LIME JUICE.

ADDITION :  WE CAN ADD POTATO, TOMATO, CORIANDER LEAVES, AND OTHER FRIED VEGETABLES AS PER OUR TASTE. WE SHOULD ADD LIME JUICE ONLY WHEN WE ARE GOING TO EAT IT AS THE CRUNCHINESS OF BREAD CRUMBS WILL BE LOST IF WE ADD LIME JUICE.

DRY FRUIT CHAKKI


PREPARATION TIME : 30 MINS

INGREDIENTS:
(1) KHOYA / MAWA-300 GMS(CRUSHED)
(2) KISMIS -100 GM
(3) BADAM -100 GM (SOAKED IN WATER &UNPEELED)
(4) KHAJUR - 100 GM
(5) KAJU -100 GM(SOAKED IN WATER)
(6) GOND -1 SMALL BOWL
(7) CHINI KI CHASNI- 1 SMALL BOWL
(8) GHEE -4 SPOON

STEPS:

CUT KAJU, KISMIS, BADAM ,KHAJUR IN EQUAL SMALL SLICES (CUTTER CAN BE USED FOR CONVINIENCE)

TAKE A KADAI AND POUR GHEE AND FRY THE GOND .TAKE IT OUT EARLY SO THAT ITS WHITE COLOUR REMAINS OR IT IS NOT OVER FRIED.

MICROWAVE BADAM  AND KAJU SLICES FOR 4 MINS.

ADD KHAJUR AND KISMIS SLICES AND MICROWAVE FOR 1 MIN.

ADD FRIED GOND & CRUSHED KHOYA AND MIX WELL AND MICROWAVE FOR 1 MIN
.
ADD MILD HOT CHINI CHASNI AS PER REQUIREMENT SO THAT THE MIXTURE OF ALL THE INGREDIENTS COULD BE SET FOR GIVING SHAPE.

TAKE A RECTANGULAR ALUMINIUM MOULD AND PUT THE ENTIRE MIXTURE IN THAT MOULD AND SET IT GENTLY.

AFTER 10 MINS.MAKE LINES FOR MAKING SHAPE AND TAKE OUT THE DRY FRUIT CHAKKI SLOWLY .WE CAN ALSO GIVE THEM THE SHAPE OF LADDOOS.

OUR DRY FRUIT CHAKKI IS READY.

IT CAN BE STORED FOR A WEEK BUT NOT MORE THAN THAT.

ADDITION:WE CAN ADD AS MUCH AS DRY FRUIT SUCH AS ANJIR , PISTA ETC.BUT ADDING MORE DRY FRUIT NEEDS KHOYA TO BE ADDED MORE AS PER REQUIREMENT.

A SIMPLE.......BESAN WALI MIRCH.....


TODAY I AM POSTING A VERY SIMPLE RECIPE WHICH CAN BE MADE IN 5 MINS.....BESAN WALI MIRCH.














PREPARATION TIME:5 MINS


 INGREDIENTS:

(1) MIRCH - CUT INTO EQUAL PIECES SIDEWISE.
(2) BESAN - 1 BOWL
(3) DHANIA POWDER - 2 SPOON
(4) SARSO POWDER - 2 SPOON(OPTIONAL)
(5) AMCHUR POWDER- 2 SPOON
(6) SUNFLOWER OIL- 1 BOWL
(7) SALT - AS PER TASTE
(8) SUGAR- 1/2 SPOON




STEPS:

TAKE A MICROWAVE SAFE BOWL. ADD MIRCH , OIL , DHANIA POWDER , SARSON POWDER , SALT , AMCHUR POWDER , SUGAR.  MIX WELL.

MICROWAVE IT FOR 2 MINS.

ADD  SEIVED BESAN AND MIX WELL.THEN AGAIN MICROWAVE IT FOR 2 MINS.AGAIN MIX IT AND MICROWAVE FOR 1 MIN.

BESAN WALI MIRCH IS READY. SERVE IT AS A SIDE DISH . IT ADDS TASTE TO OUR REGULAR FOOD. IT TASTES WELL WITH PARATHA.

ADDITION-  IT SHOULD BE CONSUMED IN A DAY OR TWO. WE MAY / MAY NOT ADD SARSON POWDER AS PER OUR TASTE. IT CAN BE PREPARED ON GAS OVEN TOO , THE SAME PROCESS NEEDS TO BE FOLLOWED AND THE SAME TIME IS REQUIRED.

PREPARATION TIME-15 MINS

INGREDIENTS-
BOILED MILK-1/2 LTR.
SUGAR-1 SMALL BOWL
RICE(SOAKED FOR AN HOUR IN WATER)-1 SMALL BOWL
SAUNF POWDER
ELAICHI POWDER

   
STEPS-
FIRST WE WOULD ADD 1/2 GLASS WATER WITH

BOILED MILK  AND BOIL FOR 2-3 MINS.


WE WOULD GRIND THE SOAKED RICE AND MAKE A SMOOTH PASTE.

IN BOILING MILK WE WOULD ADD IT AND STIR CONTINUOUSLY SO THAT NO LUMPS ARE FORMED. WE WILL LET IT BOIL TILL THE GRINDED RICE GETS COOKED.

WE WOULD ADD SUGAR TO IT AND LET IT BOIL FOR 2-3 MINS. THEN ADD SAUNF POWDER AND ELAICHI POWDER TO IT AND COOK IT FOR 2 MINS.

OUR SAUNF PHIRNI IS READY. SERVE IT HOT. WE CAN ALSO REFRIGERATE IT AND SERVE.

ADDITION: WE CAN ALSO ADD SOME STRANDS OF SAFFRON TO IT AS PER TASTE.
