DRY FRUIT CHAKKI


PREPARATION TIME : 30 MINS

INGREDIENTS:
(1) KHOYA / MAWA-300 GMS(CRUSHED)
(2) KISMIS -100 GM
(3) BADAM -100 GM (SOAKED IN WATER &UNPEELED)
(4) KHAJUR - 100 GM
(5) KAJU -100 GM(SOAKED IN WATER)
(6) GOND -1 SMALL BOWL
(7) CHINI KI CHASNI- 1 SMALL BOWL
(8) GHEE -4 SPOON

STEPS:

CUT KAJU, KISMIS, BADAM ,KHAJUR IN EQUAL SMALL SLICES (CUTTER CAN BE USED FOR CONVINIENCE)

TAKE A KADAI AND POUR GHEE AND FRY THE GOND .TAKE IT OUT EARLY SO THAT ITS WHITE COLOUR REMAINS OR IT IS NOT OVER FRIED.

MICROWAVE BADAM  AND KAJU SLICES FOR 4 MINS.

ADD KHAJUR AND KISMIS SLICES AND MICROWAVE FOR 1 MIN.

ADD FRIED GOND & CRUSHED KHOYA AND MIX WELL AND MICROWAVE FOR 1 MIN
.
ADD MILD HOT CHINI CHASNI AS PER REQUIREMENT SO THAT THE MIXTURE OF ALL THE INGREDIENTS COULD BE SET FOR GIVING SHAPE.

TAKE A RECTANGULAR ALUMINIUM MOULD AND PUT THE ENTIRE MIXTURE IN THAT MOULD AND SET IT GENTLY.

AFTER 10 MINS.MAKE LINES FOR MAKING SHAPE AND TAKE OUT THE DRY FRUIT CHAKKI SLOWLY .WE CAN ALSO GIVE THEM THE SHAPE OF LADDOOS.

OUR DRY FRUIT CHAKKI IS READY.

IT CAN BE STORED FOR A WEEK BUT NOT MORE THAN THAT.

ADDITION:WE CAN ADD AS MUCH AS DRY FRUIT SUCH AS ANJIR , PISTA ETC.BUT ADDING MORE DRY FRUIT NEEDS KHOYA TO BE ADDED MORE AS PER REQUIREMENT.
